The Ithaca College softball team lost to SUNY Oneonta in the regional championship game of the NCAA Northeast Regional by a score of 3-2. With the loss, Oneonta forces another game in the tournament and the winner of the next game will win the tournament.

The game was scoreless until sophomore Kim Stephens scored on a wild pitch to take the lead. Another Ithaca runner scored on an error to take a 2-0 lead. Oneonta scored three runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to secure the win.

Senior Laura Remia went 1-for-2 with one RBI and junior Kim Sebastiao went 1-for-2. Sophomore Lori Fazio and Stephens each added one hit as well.

Sophomore Abby Hanrahan had two strikeouts and only allowed five hits through six innings pitched.
