The No. 10 Ithaca College softball team lost its first game of the Montclair/William Paterson Tournament against Muhlenberg College by a score of 5-3.
 
The Victors scored one run in the sixth inning to tie the contest at 2-2 and force the game into extra innings. Muhlenberg scored three runs in the eighth inning to make the score 5-2, and the Bombers were only able to score one run in the bottom of the eighth inning.
 
The Victors scored first as they scored one run in the third inning. The Bombers scored two runs in the bottom of the fourth inning to take the lead until Muhlenberg tied the game in the sixth inning.
 
Sophomore Liz Yentema went 3-for-3 with two RBI and one run scored. Freshman Megan Hannan added one RBI as she went 1-for-2. Sophomore Kim Stephens had two runs on the day as she went 2-for-4.
 
Sophomore Abby Hanrahan is now 4-2 on the season as she recorded three strikeouts through 2.1 innings pitched.
