The No. 10 Ithaca College softball team defeated the University of Mount Union by a score of 9-1.
 
Both teams scored one run in the first inning and the Bombers took the lead in the third inning with three runs scored. The game remained at 4-1 until Ithaca added four runs in the sixth inning and one run in the seventh inning to make the score 9-1.
 
Senior Laura Remia went 2-for-4 with three RBI and one run scored and junior Kristin Furdon went 2-for-4 with two RBI. Sophomore Kim Sebastiao and freshman Sara Durant both went 1-for-4 with one RBI.
 
Sophomore Abby Hanrahan only allowed three hits and recorded nine strikeouts through seven innings pitched.
