The Ithaca College softball team fell to SUNY Cortland by a score of 6-5 in the final game of the Cortaca Classic Softball Tournament.

Cortland went up 5-0 after the third inning, which was highlighted by three runs scored in the first inning. The Bombers cut the lead to 5-4 with four runs scored in the fifth inning, and Ithaca added one run in the sixth inning to tie the game. The Red Dragons scored the game-winning run in the bottom of the sixth inning.

Freshman Kerri Barber went 1-for-1 with one RBI and junior Kristin Furdon went 2-for-4. Senior Laura Remia and sophomore Lori Fazio each added one RBI as well.

Sophomore Abby Hanrahan is now 9-5 on the season as she recorded three strikeouts and allowed five hits.
