The Ithaca College softball team lost against Division I Cornell University by a score of 9-1.

The Big Red scored three runs in the first inning and added one run in the third inning to take a 4-0 lead. Ithaca's lone run came in the fourth inning as senior Laura Remia hit a solo home run. Cornell had one run in the fifth inning and tallied four more runs in the top of the seventh inning to secure the 9-1 win.

Sophomores Liz Yentema and Kim Stephens each had one hit in the game.

Sophomore Rachel Meth allowed 12 hits through seven innings pitched in her second loss of the season.
