The Ithaca College softball team defeated SUNY Cortland by a score of 10-1 at the Montclair Tournament.
The game was scoreless until the Bombers scored their first run in the fourth inning. In the sixth inning, Ithaca scored a season-high nine runs in one inning to take a 10-0 lead. Cortland's lone run came in the sixth inning.
Junior Nancy Liskiewicz went 3-for-4 with two RBI and one run scored while sophomore Kelle Jo Rolfe went 2-for-4 with two RBI and three runs scored. Senior Marybeth Progno went 1-for-3 with one RBI and junior Heather Afarian added an RBI as well as she went 1-for-4.
Junior Stacy Johnson only allowed five hits and had five strikeouts in the win.
