The Ithaca College softball team defeated SUNY Geneseo by a score of 12-0 in Ithaca's opening game of the Cortland Tournament. 
 
Ithaca scored four runs in the first inning to take an early lead. The Bombers added three runs in the fourth inning and one run in the sixth inning to take the 8-0 lead. Ithaca's final four runs came in the top of the seventh inning. 
 
Sophomore Maura Keenan went 2-for-2 with two RBI and one run scored. Sophomore Kelle Jo Rolfe went 2-for-3 with two runs scored and senior Marybeth Progno went 1-for-3 with one RBI and three runs scored. 
 
Junior Stacy Johnson only allowed one hit and recorded four strikeouts. She is now 7-2 on the season.
