The Ithaca College softball team fell to Eastern Connecticut State University by a score of 6-2 in extra innings the final game of the NCAA Regional.
The game was scoreless until the fourth inning when Ithaca scored its first run. ECSU took the lead in the fifth inning with two runs scored and the Bombers tied the contest in the sixth inning. The Warriors scored four runs in the top of the 10th inning to secure the 6-2 win.
Junior Stacy Swiger went 1-for-5 with one RBI and sophomore Maura Keenan went 2-for-3. Sophomores Kim Lamoureaux and Kelle Jo Rolfe both added two hits as well.
Junior Stacy Johnson allowed 14 hits and recorded two strikeouts in the loss. The Bombers finish the season with an overall record of 26-14.
