The Ithaca College softball team defeated Eastern Connecticut State University by a score of 4-2 in the NCAA Regional.
Ithaca took a 2-0 lead in the third inning and the Warriors tied the contest with two runs of their own in the fourth inning. Tied at 2-2 heading into the sixth inning, the Bombers scored two more runs to take the 4-2 lead.
Junior Nancy Liskiewicz went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one run scored. Junior Stacy Swiger and sophomore Maura Keenan each added one RBI as well. Sophomore Missy Foley went 2-for-3 with one run scored.
Junior Stacy Johnson only allowed five hits and recorded three strikeouts in the win. Johnson is now 14-5 on the season.
