Ithaca vs Brockport, 1991

The Ithaca College softball team swept its doubleheader against The College at Brockport, winning the first game 2-0 and the second game by a score of 6-4. 
 
Game 1 | Ithaca 2, Brockport 0
 
Ithaca jumped out to an early lead in the first inning with one run and added another run in the fifth inning to take the 2-0 lead. 
 
Junior Nancy Liskiewicz had both RBI in the game as she went 1-for-3. Sophomore Kelle Jo Rolfe went 2-for-4 with one run scored and senior Jodi Maddren went 1-for-3 with one run scored.
 
Junior Stacy Swiger only gave up four hits and had two strikeouts in her eighth win of the season. 
 
Game 2 | Ithaca 6, Brockport 4
 
The Golden Eagles scored their first run in the first inning to take an early 1-0 lead and the Bombers tied the contest in the second inning. Ithaca added two runs in the third inning to take the 3-1 lead. 
 
Both teams scored one run in the sixth inning and two runs in the seventh inning to take the 6-4 lead. 
 
Senior Marybeth Progno went 2-for-4 with two RBI and two runs scored. Senior Jodi Maddren and junior Nancy Liskiewicz both went 2-for-4 with one RBI and one run scored. Sophomores Missy Foley and Kim Lamoureaux both added one RBI as well. 
 
Junior Stacy Johnson only allowed eight hits and recorded four strikeouts. Johnson is now 11-5 on the season.
