Ithaca vs St. Lawrence, 2002

The No. 12 Ithaca College softball team swept St. Lawrence in its doubleheader, winning the first game 7-0 and the second game 11-3. 
 
Game 1 | Ithaca 7, St. Lawrence 0
 
Ithaca scored two runs in the bottom of the second, third and fourth innings to take a 6-0 lead. The Bombers added one more run in the bottom of the sixth. 
 
Sophomore Kerri Barber went 3-for-4 with three RBI and two doubles. Junior Alison Cole went 2-for-2 with two RBI and junior Kim Stephens added one RBI. 
 
Junior Abby Hanrahan pitched the full game and only allowed five hits and tied her season-high record of 10 strikeouts. 
 
Game 2 | Ithaca 11, St. Lawrence 3
 
The Bombers went up 2-0 in the first inning, but St. Lawrence tied it in the top of the second. Ithaca added two more runs in the bottom of the second, and the game stayed at 4-2 until the top of the fourth when St. Lawrence scored one more run. The Bombers tallied two runs in the fourth and had an impressive five-run fifth inning to get the victory in five innings. 
 
Senior Mairin Dudek had a huge day at the plate as she went 4-for-4 with three RBI and a double. Junior Liz Yentema also had a great day offensively, going 3-for-4 with three RBI and one double. 
 
Freshman Abbey Pelot picked up her sixth win of the season as she only allowed four hits and struck out seven.
