The Ithaca College softball team defeated the Rochester Institute of Technology in the Empire 8 tournament semi-finals 4-0. 
 
The game was 0-0 until the top of the fifth inning when the Bombers scored two runs. Ithaca added one more run in each of the sixth and seventh innings.
 
Junior Alison Cole went 1-for-2 with one RBI and freshman Sara Durant had one RBI as well. 
 
Junior Abby Hanrahan pitched a one-hitter throughout all seven innings and struck out six.
