The Ithaca College softball team picked up its first win of the season, defeating Millikin University 7-5. Ithaca is now 1-2 on the season. 
 
The game was tied 1-1 after the first inning. Millikin took a 2-1 lead in the top of the third, but Ithaca responded with two runs in the bottom of the fourth. Millikin scored three more runs in the fifth, but Ithaca scored two to tie it. The Bombers scored two runs in the sixth and Millikin was unable to score any in the seventh. 
 
Senior Kristin Furdon hit her second home run of the season. She finished the game going 1-for-3 with two RBI. Freshman Sara Coddington and senior Mairin Dudek each added an RBI.
 
Junior Abby Hanrahan picked up her first win of the year as she gave up no hits and struck out five during her time on the mound.
