The No. 12 Ithaca College softball team fell to No. 9 SUNY Cortland in both games of the team's doubleheader, losing the first game 2-1 and the second game 1-0.

Ithaca took an early 1-0 lead in the top of the fourth inning. In the bottom of the sixth, the Red Dragons scored two runs in the bottom of the sixth, and the Bombers could not score any runs in the seventh.
Junior Liz Yentema went 1-for-3 with one double and senior Kim Sebastiao went 1-for-2 with a double.
Junior Abby Hanrahan pitched all six innings and struck out seven while only allowing six hits.

The game was tied 0-0 until the bottom of the seventh when Cortland scored the lone run of the game. Cortland's Megan Cross hit the walk-off single with one out.
Yentema, junior Alison Cole and freshman Sara Durant each recorded a hit in the contest. Freshman Abbey Pelot was throwing a no-hitter going into the seventh inning. She finished the game only allowing one hit and striking out two.
