The Ithaca College softball team defeated Widener University by a score of 3-2. 
 
Ithaca scored first in the first inning to take a 1-0 lead and Widener added one run in the third inning to tie the contest. Both teams scored one run in the fourth inning, but Ithaca scored one more run in the fifth inning to take the lead. 
 
Freshman Allison Jadrych went 2-for-2 with one run scored and senior Maura Keenan went 2-for-3 with one RBI. Seniors Kim Lamoureaux and Christine Schoenweitz both went 1-for-2 with one RBI. 
 
Senior Heather Ware only allowed five hits and struck out two batters in the win.
