Ithaca vs RIT, 1993

The Ithaca College softball team lost both games of its doubleheader against the Rochester Institute of Technology, losing the first game 4-2 and the second game 3-2. 
 
Game 1 | RIT 4, Ithaca 2
 
Ithaca scored both of its runs in the second inning off a single from junior Chris Pettograsso. The Tigers scored two runs in each of the third and fourth innings to take the 4-2 lead. 
 
Pettograsso finished the day going 2-for-3 with two RBI. Seniors Christie Schoenweitz and Jo Levia both finished the contest going 1-for-3. 
 
Senior Heather Ware only allowed seven hits in the game. 
 
Game 2 | RIT 3, Ithaca 2
 
The Bombers scored one run in the third inning to take an early lead and the Tigers responded with two runs of their own to take the lead in the fifth inning. Ithaca tied the game with one run in the sixth inning and RIT won the game with one run scored in the seventh inning. 
 
Pettograsso finished the second game going 1-for-3 with one RBI and freshman Jeanine Bleau added the other RBI. 
 
Ware gave up 10 hits and recorded one strikeout.
