The Ithaca College softball team lost to Buffalo State by a score of 6-5.
The Bengals scored one run in the first inning, but Ithaca took the lead in the second inning as the team scored three runs. The Bombers added two runs in the sixth inning to take a 5-1 lead, but Buffalo State rallied in the bottom of the seventh with five runs scored to win the game 6-5.
Senior Jo Levia went 1-for-3 with two RBI. Sophomore Sindie Shollenberger and junior Chris Pettograsso each had two hits.
Senior Heather Ware had one strikeout and allowed seven hits.
