Ithaca vs Union, NCAA Northeast Region Playoffs 2003

The No. 16 Ithaca College softball team defeated Union College 5-4 in game four of the NCAA Northeast Region Playoffs. 
 
The game was scoreless until the fourth inning when the Bombers scored two runs. Ithaca put two more runs on the board in the top of the fifth, but Union responded with four runs in the bottom of the fifth to tie the game. 
 
Ithaca scored one run in the sixth to take the 5-4 lead that would ultimately win them the game. 
 
Junior Sara Durant finished the game going 2-for-4 with two RBI and two doubles. She now has 22 doubles on the season. Senior Abby Hanrahan only allowed three hits and struck out four.
