The No. 1 Ithaca College softball team fell to The College of New Jersey 11-3. The Bombers recorded a season-high 10 errors in the contest.
TCNJ went up 3-0 early in the top of the first, but the Bombers responded with two runs of their own. In the top of the third, TCNJ added five runs to make the score 8-2. Ithaca scored once more in the bottom of the fourth, but TCNJ added three more runs to win the game in five innings.
Junior Meg Hannon went 1-for-3 with two RBI. The other RBI came from senior Kim Stephens, who went 1-for-2 on the day. Sophomore Abbey Pelot recorded her first loss of the season as she pitched three innings and gave up four hits.
