The Ithaca College softball team swept Muhlenberg College in a non-conference doubleheader, winning game one 9-1 and winning game two by a score of 4-0.

The Bombers scored first in the bottom of the first inning to take a 1-0 lead. It was not until the bottom of the third that the Ithaca offense exploded and scored six runs to take a 7-0 lead at the end of the third. Muhlenberg scored one run in the top of the fifth inning, but the Bombers scored twice in the bottom of the fifth to secure the win.
Junior Kerri Barber went 1-for-2 with two RBI and freshman Leigh Bonkowski went 1-for2 with two RBI and a double. Junior Meg Hannon went 1-for-3 and added two RBI as well.
Senior Abby Hanrahan picked up her fourth win of the year and is now 4-2 on the season.

The Bombers scored all four runs in the bottom of the fifth inning, which was highlighted by a three-run home run by sophomore Maddie Kraemer. Adding the other RBI was Hannon, who went 1-for-2 on the day.
Sophomore Abbey Pelot picked up her sixth win of the year. She allowed five hits and struck out one.
