The Ithaca College softball team defeated Widener University by a score of 5-1. 
 
Ithaca scored one run in the second and third innings to take a 2-0 lead. The Bombers added three runs in the top of the third inning and Widener scored its lone run of the game in the bottom of the fourth inning. 
 
Sophomore Jeanine Bleau went 3-for-3 with two RBI and one run scored. She hit one double in the contest and also had two stolen bases. Sophomore Jennifer Blum went 1-for-2 with one RBI. 
 
Junior Susan Reid pitched a two-hitter throughout five innings and recorded three strikeouts.
