Ithaca vs Eastern Connecticut State, April 17, 1994

The Ithaca College softball team lost both games of its doubleheader against Eastern Connecticut State University, losing the first game 5-0 and the second game 8-3. 
 
Game 1 | ECSU 5, Ithaca 0
 
The Warriors scored one run in the second and third innings to take an early 2-0 lead. ECSU added three runs in the sixth inning to win the game 5-0. 
 
Senior Chris Pettograsso and sophomore Jennifer Hoselton both went 2-for-3 in the first game. Freshmen Angela Ellis and Ellen Mullin, as well as sophomore Jeanine Bleau, each had one hit as well. 
 
Freshman Nicki Swan only allowed four hits. She is now 9-3 on the season. 
 
Game 2 | ECSU 8, Ithaca 3
 
ECSU scored five runs in the bottom of the first inning to take a 5-0 lead. Both teams scored two runs in the third inning and the Warriors added one run in the bottom of the fifth inning. Ithaca's other run came in the top of the seventh inning. 
 
Swan had two RBI on the day and sophomore Jennifer Blum went 2-for-4 with one RBI. 
 
Swan took the loss as she pitched 0.3 innings and allowed five hits. Junior Susan Reid pitched 5.7 innings as she allowed five hits and recorded three strikeouts.
