Ithaca vs Cortland, 1994

The Ithaca College softball team defeated SUNY Cortland in both games of the doubleheader, winning the first game 9-0 in six innings and the second game by a score of 11-3. 
 
Game 1 | Ithaca 9, Cortland 0
 
Ithaca scored one run in each of the first, third and fourth innings to take a 3-0 lead. The Bombers scored an impressive six runs in the sixth inning to take the 9-0 win. 
 
Sophomore Jeanine Bleau went 2-for-4 with three RBI and one double and freshman Nicki Swan went 2-for-4 with two RBI. Freshman Ellen Mullin went 3-for-3 with one RBI and three runs scored and freshman Mary Ellen Hoffman went 2-for-2 with one RBI. 
 
Swan pitched a three-hitter and recorded four strikeouts in the win.
 
Game 2 | Ithaca 11, Cortland 3
 
Both teams scored one run in the first inning to make the score 1-1. The game remained at that score until the top of the fifth when the Bombers scored one run. In the sixth inning, the Bombers scored five runs and then four more runs in the top of the seventh inning to take the 11-2 lead. The Red Dragons last two runs came in the bottom of the seventh inning. 
 
Bleau went 4-for-5 with three RBI and sophomore Marie Kelly went 2-for-5 with two RBI. 
 
Junior Susan Reid pitched a one-hitter through four innings and had four strikeouts.
