The Ithaca College softball team swept The College at Brockport, winning the first game 9-5 and the second game 3-1. 
 
Game 1 | Ithaca 9, Brockport 5
 
Both teams scored two runs in the first inning to make the score 2-2. The Bombers added two runs in the second inning, but the Golden Eagles took the lead in the bottom of the second as they scored three runs. 
 
Ithaca took the lead in the top of the third inning as the team tallied three runs and scored two more runs in the top of the fourth inning to take the 9-5 lead. 
 
Sophomore Jeanine Bleau went 2-for-3 with two RBI and two runs scored. Junior Susan Reid went 3-for-3 with one RBI and two runs scored, and senior Chris Pettograsso went 2-for-3 with one RBI. 
 
Reid allowed nine hits and recorded three strikeouts. She is now 8-4 on the season. 
 
Game 2 | Ithaca 3, Brockport 1
 
Ithaca scored two runs in the first inning to take an early lead and added one more run in the fifth inning. Brockport's lone run of the contest came in the bottom of the sixth inning.
 
Bleau went 2-for-3 with one RBI and one run scored and Reid added an RBI as well, finishing the day going 1-for-3 with a double. 
 
Freshman Tracy Welliver picked up her first win of the season as she only allowed five hits. She is now 1-0 on the season.
