The Ithaca College softball team defeated North Adams State by a score of 2-0 to advance in the NCAA Northeast Regional. 
 
The Bombers scored one run in the top of the second inning to take an early 1-0 lead. Ithaca scored one more run in the top of the seventh inning. 
 
Sophomore Meg Steere went 2-for-3 with one RBI and senior Susan Reid went 1-for-3 with one RBI. Junior Jennifer Hoselton went 1-for-2 with two runs scored and had three stolen bases. 
 
Sophomore Nicki Swan only allowed five hits and struck out eight batters in the win.
