The Ithaca College softball team split its doubleheader against The College at Brockport, losing the first game 4-3 and winning the second game 6-2. 
 
Game 1 | Brockport 4, Ithaca 3
 
The game was tied at 3-3 heading into the bottom of the eighth inning as Brockport scored a winning run to secure the win. 
 
The contest was scoreless until the fifth inning when the Bombers scored three runs off senior Chris Pettograsso's three-run home run. Brockport cut the lead to 3-1 in the bottom of the fifth and then tied the game in the bottom of the seventh by adding two more runs. 
 
Pettograsso finished the first game going 1-for-3 with three RBI. Senior Susan Reid went 3-for-3 with one double, and sophomore Tracy Welliver and junior Jennifer Blum both went 1-for-3. 
 
Sophomore Nicki Swan only allowed eight hits throughout the game. 
 
Game 2 | Ithaca 6, Brockport 2
 
Both teams scored once in the first inning to tie the game 1-1. The Bombers scored two runs in the top of the third and Brockport cut the lead to 3-2 in the bottom of the fourth inning. Ithaca added one more run in the fifth inning and two more runs in the sixth inning to secure the 6-2 win. 
 
Pettograsso went 2-for-3 with two RBI in the game while junior Jennifer Hoselton went 1-for-4 with a two-run double. Sophomore Marie Kelly and Swan each added an RBI as well. 
 
Reid only allowed five hits and struck out four batters in her third win of the season.
