The Ithaca College softball team defeated Springfield College 2-0 to eliminate them from the NCAA Northeast Regional. 
 
Ithaca got on the board first as senior Jennifer Blum had an RBI single to take a 1-0 lead. In the bottom of the third inning, freshman Julie McGraw had an RBI single to take the 2-0 lead. 
 
Sophomore Amy McMordie also had one hit during the game. Junior Nicki Swan pitched a three-hitter and recorded two strikeouts during the win.
