The Ithaca College softball team defeated St. Norbert College by a score of 5-2. 
 
St. Norbert scored one run in the first inning to take an early lead, but the Bombers took a 2-1 lead in the top of the third. Ithaca scored two more runs in the fourth inning and an extra run in the fifth inning to take a 5-1 lead. The Green Knights tried to start a seventh inning comeback, but could only score one additional run. 
 
Senior Meg Steere went 2-for-3 with one RBI during the contest and junior Amy McMordie went 1-for-2 with one RBI. Senior Mary Ellen Hoffman and sophomore Cheryl Wah each added an RBI as well.
 
Freshman Robin Bimson picked up her first win of the season as she pitched 2.2 innings and only allowed four hits.
