The Ithaca College softball team defeated Penn State Behrend 9-0. The Bombers recorded 11 hits during the game. 
 
The Bombers jumped out to an early 2-0 lead in the first inning and added another run in the second. Ithaca tallied two runs in the top of the fourth and scored an impressive four runs in the top of the fifth. 
 
Sophomore Cheryl Wah hit her first home run of the season as she hit a grand slam in the top of the fifth. She finished the day going 3-for-4 with four RBI. Senior Mary Ellen Hoffman went 3-for-4 with two runs scored and one RBI. 
 
Sophomore Julie McGraw and freshman Vanessa Montorsi each added RBIs as well as Montorsi hit her first double of the season.
 
Senor Nicki Swan picked up her first shutout of the season as she only allowed four hits while striking out six.
