The Ithaca College softball team defeated Mount Union 5-4 in the team's first win of the season.
 
Mount Union had an early 4-0 lead in the third inning, but the Bombers scored an impressive five runs in the bottom of the third to take the lead. 
 
Freshman Janine Lawler went 1-for-3 with two RBI and freshman Sharon Orchard went 1-for-2 with two RBI. Senior Nicki Swan went 3-for-3 during the contest. 
 
Swan picked up her first win of the season as she pitched 2.1 innings and only allowed one hit.
