The Ithaca College softball team finished its regular season with a sweep in its doubleheader against Eastern Connecticut State, winning the first game 8-0 and the second game 4-0.
Game 1 | Ithaca 8, ECSU 0
Ithaca scored two runs in the third and two runs in the fourth inning to take an early 4-0 lead. The Bombers scored four runs in the bottom of the fifth to end the game in five innings.
Sophomore Julie McGraw went 3-for-4 with three RBI and sophomore Cheryl Wah went 1-for-3 with two RBI. Senior Nicki Swan went 1-for-1 with two RBI.
Swan pitched a one-hitter and struck out five batters. She is now 13-8 on the season.
Game 2 | Ithaca 4, ECSU 0
The Bombers scored one run in the first inning to take an early 1-0 lead. Ithaca added one run in the fourth inning and two runs in the sixth inning to win the game 4-0.
Senior Margo McGowan went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double. Wah went 2-for-4 with one RBI during the second game.
Swan pitched the second game of the doubleheader and only gave up four hits while striking out six batters.
