The Ithaca College softball team fell to Binghamton University by a score of 3-1 in the NYSWCAA championship game. 
 
Binghamton scored one run in the first inning and scored another in the bottom of the fifth to take a 2-0 lead. The Bombers scored one run in the top of the sixth to cut the lead, but Binghamton tacked on one more run in the bottom of the sixth inning. 
 
Senior Mary Ellen Hoffman went 1-for-3 with the team's lone RBI of the game. Freshman Vanessa Montorsi and junior Kristi Clark each went 1-for-3 during the game. 
 
Senior Nicki Swan had four strikeouts and gave up eight hits in the loss.
