The Ithaca College softball team defeated Allegheny College by a score of 13-3 in the Cortland/Ithaca Tournament. 
 
Allegheny scored first in the second inning to take a 1-0 lead, but the Bombers responded with seven runs in the bottom of the second. Allegheny scored two runs in the top of the third and Ithaca scored another five runs in the bottom of the third. Ithaca added one more run in the bottom of the fourth. 
 
Freshman Melissa Fratine went 2-for-3 with a season-high five RBIs with a two-run double and a bases-loaded triple. Senior Meg Steere went 2-for-3 with one RBI. 
 
Senior Nicki Swan only allowed five hits and struck out four batters during the game.
