The Ithaca College softball team fell to Salisbury University 8-6. With the loss, the Bombers are 11-4 on the season.
The game was scoreless until the third inning when both teams scored four runs. Ithaca added two more runs in the bottom of the fourth inning, but Salisbury tallied four runs in the top of the fifth.
Freshman Nichole Fava went 2-for-3 with two RBI. Senior Margo McGowan went 3-for-3 with one RBI and freshman Bethany Murphy went 1-for-1 with one RBI.
Sophomore Robin Bimson pitched all five innings while allowing 11 hits and striking out two.
