The Ithaca College softball team defeated Springfield College by a score of 3-2. 
 
Ithaca scored one run in the top of the first inning when senior Janine Lawler got one RBI. Springfield scored two runs in the bottom of the third inning to take the 2-1 lead. The Bombers scored two runs in the top of the sixth when senior Robin Bimson hit a two-run double to take the lead.
 
Bimson finished the day going 1-for-3 with two RBI. She also pitched the full game, only allowing three hits and striking out three batters.
