Ithaca vs Salisbury, NCAA Regional, 2000

The Ithaca College softball team defeated Salisbury University 10-1 in the eighth game of the NCAA Division III Northeast Regional. 
 
Ithaca jumped out to a 1-0 lead after junior Laura Remia doubled to center field to score sophomore Kim Sebastiao. 
 
The Bombers added two more runs in the top of the third inning to take a 3-0 lead. Salisbury scored one run in the bottom of the fourth, but Ithaca tallied three more runs in the top of the fifth inning when sophomore Kristin Furdon hit a two-run home run. Sophomore Mairin Dudek also scored on a throwing error by Salisbury. 
 
Ithaca scored an impressive four runs in the seventh inning. Sophomore Donna Fisher doubled to left field to score two of the four runs and the other two runs came off singles. 
 
Senior Robin Bimson gave up eight hits and struck out three in the contest.
