The Ithaca College softball team defeated Muhlenberg College 9-2 to remain undefeated to start the season. 
 
The game was scoreless until the top of the third when the Bombers scored their first run. In the top of the fourth, Ithaca added four more runs to extend the lead to 5-0. Muhlenberg scored two runs to cut the lead to 5-2 at the end of the fourth inning, but Ithaca tallied four more runs throughout the game to win. 
 
Senior Kristin Muenzen went 1-for-2 with two RBI during the game while senior Vanessa Montorsi went 3-for-4 with one RBI. Sophomore Mairin Dudek, junior Laura Remia and sophomore Kristin Furdon each added one RBI as well. 
 
Senior Robin Bimson only allowed four hits during the contest and struck out two batters.
