The Ithaca College softball team lost its first game of the season against Lake Forest College by a score of 2-0. The Bombers outhit the Foresters 7-4 during the game. 
 
Senior Janine Lawler went 2-for-3 on the day. Sophomore Kim Sebastiao and freshman Alison Cole each had a hit as well. 
 
Senior Robin Bimson pitched all seven innings and only allowed four hits during the loss.
