ITHACA, N.Y. – The Ithaca College football team will play its final game of the season on Saturday as the Bombers host Washington & Jefferson College at 12 p.m. at Butterfield Stadium in the ECAC Asa S. Bushnell Bowl. Saturday will mark the third straight season in which Ithaca has played in an ECAC Bowl Game. The Bombers are 8-2 on the season, while W&J is 7-3.

ALL-TIME SERIES: Ithaca and Washington & Jefferson have met five times overall, with the Presidents leading the series, 3-2, but the last meeting took place before any players in Saturday's game were even born – 1994 during the NCAA Semifinals at Butterfield Stadium. W&J won that matchup, 23-19, to reach the Stagg Bowl.
The Bombers and Presidents first played in 1988 – a 34-3 win for IC. W&J then won, 34-0, in 1989, but IC took a 47-28 decision in 1992. W&J defeated Ithaca, 42-7, in 1993 and again in 1994.
61ST CORTACA JUG GAME – 45,161 FANS: The 61st Cortaca Jug Game took place last Saturday at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J. in front of a NCAA Division III record attendance of 45,161. IC and Cortland drew 7,806 more fans that the previous record of 37,355 set in the Tommie-Johnnie game in 2017. It was also the fifth-most attended college football game in the history of MetLife Stadium.
Ithaca defeated Cortland, 32-20, for the third straight season to run its record to 37-24 in the rivalry.
Senior
Joe Germinerio totaled 410 yards and five touchdowns in the game. Germinerio threw for 251 yards with two touchdowns and ran for 159 more with three scores on the ground. Junior
Andrew Vito caught 12 passes for 124 yards and a touchdown.
Ithaca possessed the ball for more than 45 minutes in the contest and held Cortland to 307 yards of offense.
MILESTONE SATURDAY: Germinerio is just two touchdowns shy of tying the school single-season record of 34 set by Josh Felicetti in 2005. Vito, who set the school single-season receptions record last Saturday, is just two yards shy of his first 1,000-yard season. Gladney is also nine yards away from eclipsing 1,000 yards to become the first receiving duo to surpass that mark in school history. Both wide outs also have the chance to catch 80 passes this season – Vito has 79, Gladney has 75.
LIBERTY LEAGUE YEARLY AWARDS: On November 19, the Liberty League released its yearly awards and 13 players for Ithaca landed on one of three teams. Highlighting this year's selections was freshman
Nicholas Bahamonde, who was named Special Teams Player of the Year.

D3FOOTBALL.COM TEAM OF THE WEEK: After being named Liberty League Offensive Performer of the Week on Monday afternoon, Germinerio was honored as the top quarter in Division III by D3football.com. Germinerio became the fifth Bomber this season to earn D3football.com Team of the Week honors.
NCAA STATISTICAL LEADERS: The Bombers continue to be one of the top offenses in the country. IC is third in first down offense (258), seventh in third down conversion (53.6%), and eighth in passing offense (327.4) and completion percentage (68.2%). IC is also fifth in punt return defense at 1.17 yards.
Individually, Germinerio is second in total offense (353.5), sixth in passing yards (3,128) and completion per game (23.6), seventh in passing yards per game (312.8), points responsible for (236) and per game (23.6), eighth in passing touchdowns (32) and completion percentage (69.7%).
Vito is fifth nationally in receptions per game at 8.8, while Gladney is ninth in receiving touchdowns with 15. Bahamonde is eighth in field goal percentage at 83.3%.
ECAC BOWLS GAMES: The Eastern College Athletic Conference released its postseason Bowl Games on Monday afternoon and selected eight teams to play in four matchups.
Asa S. Bushnell Bowl – Ithaca vs. Washington & Jefferson
Scotty Whitelaw Bowl – Brevard vs. Carnegie Mellon
Clayton Chapman Bowl – Westminster vs. Morrisville
James Lynah Bowl – RPI vs. Grove City
SCOUTING THE PRESIDENTS: W&J is 7-3 on the season and finished fourth in the Presidents' Athletic Conference. The Presidents average 35.5 points and 410.3 yards per game. Defensively, W&J allows 16.0 points and 289.0 yards per outing.
The offense is led by quarterback Jacob Adams, who has thrown for 23 touchdowns and 2,591 yards. Payton Skalos and Josh Burns have been on the receiving end of 12 touchdowns (six each), while Cameron O'Brien has caught five TDs. Both Skalos and Burns have eclipsed 700 yards this season.
Defensively, the Presidents wreak havoc all over the field. W&J ranks third nationally in sacks per game (4.0), fourth in turnovers gained (29) and fumbles recovered (14.0) and seventh in tackles for loss per game (14.0).
W&J also has one of the best kick returners in the country in Joey Koroly, who has returned two kicks for touchdowns and averages 29.0 yards per return.
