GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Ithaca College women's volleyball team was back in action on Saturday afternoon when it concluded its road trip to the Midwest Invitational with a non-league battle against Elmhurst. The Bombers shrugged off their sour feelings from Friday, surging past the Bluejays for a three-set victory (25-23, 25-14, 25-22). The victory improves Ithaca's record to 14-7 overall on the year.

"While losing yesterday was not much fun, I think we learned some valuable lessons in the areas of work ethic, serve receive and serving that served us well today and will continue to do so for the rest of the year," head coach
Johan Dulfer said. "Today against Elmhurst, we applied some of those lessons and the result was a very confident performance from our team. It was great to see us play with great energy and purpose, while winning the serve-pass battle against a very disciplined defensive team like Elmhurst. We can't wait to bring back what we've learned to the Liberty League and are excited to take-on the challenge with some big matches this upcoming week."
