ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. – The Ithaca College women's volleyball kept right on rolling in Liberty League action when the Bombers capped its first road weekend in league play on Saturday afternoon at Bard. The Bombers eased past the Raptors in three convincing sets (25-14, 25-12, 25-9) to improve to 4-0 in Liberty League action, still maintaining their string of not conceding a set in league play to four straight matches.

Coming on the heels of the team's dominant performance last night in a three-set win at Vassar, Ithaca continued to rack up big statistical advantages on Saturday. The Bombers controlled all the major categories, posting advantages of 34-to-10 in kills, 13-to-4 in service aces, and 40-to-29 in digs. IC also converted its offense at another impressive clip, hitting at a .307 percentage, while holding the Raptors to a -.125 mark.

"It is always a challenge to go on the road in league play and pull out two victories," head coach
Johan Dulfer said. "I'm pleased with the focus and effort we were able to bring to the court this weekend following our bye week. At the end of the day, it is great to keep our record unbeaten in league play and we are set up well for an exciting finish to the league season."

Alison Lipton and first-year
Camryn O'Leary paced the Bombers at the pins. Both players racked up nine kills on the day, Lipton's coming at an absolutely scintillating .471 success rate. Lipton would add a block assist and two digs to her ledger, while O'Leary finished with three digs. Adding to the attack on the outside were juniors
Reagan Stone and
Sarah Jennison who both saw piecemeal action in the match. Stone posted six kills on .455 hitting, while also adding four digs in just two sets played. Jennison marked two kills, two digs and three service aces in her lone set played on the day.

All three of Ithaca's primary middles broke into the rotation on the day. Junior
Katie Basey led the group offensively with five kills on six swings, marking a team-best .833 hitting percentage, while also adding one block assist. First-year
Jennifer Pitts finished with two kills and three service aces, while sophomore
Monet Peoples posted one kill and one solo block.

Junior
Delaney Runyon was the facilitator of the IC attack on Saturday and posted a strong afternoon. She amassed 25 assists, while she was the third Bomber to also register three service aces in the match. Runyon also added four digs.

The backline was not especially busy with Bard's struggles in serve-receive leading to minimal in the way of threatening attacks. First-year
Hannah Hughes paced the group with eight digs, while she also added one ace and one assist. Sophomore
Jordyn Lyn Hayashi added six digs, one ace and two assists, while first-year
Grace Isaksen and sophomore
Laura Severance each posted four digs. Isaksen would add to IC's dominance from the service line with two aces in the match.

All three sets in today's match featured the Bombers racing out to commanding leads. Using purposeful serving and a distinct advantage in height and athleticism across the net front, IC kept the Raptors out of system for much of the afternoon. Ithaca closed out the match on a high note with a dominant third-set that featured 12 kills on a scorching .471 hitting rate for the team.

Ithaca will be back in action next weekend when it travels to Michigan for a huge set of matches outside of league play that will present opportunities for the Bombers to secure some resume building wins. IC will head to the prestigious Midwest Invitational, hosted by Calvin College in Grand Rapids, Michigan, on Friday, October 18, and Saturday, October 19. The first-day of the tournament will be the headliner for the Bombers, as they will take on a pair of Top-25 ranked teams in No. 22 Hope and No. 2 Calvin at 3:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. eastern time.
