ITHACA, N.Y. – The Ithaca College men's soccer team is set to host Skidmore on Tuesday afternoon at 2 p.m. at Higgins Stadium in the first round of the 2018 Liberty League Tournament.

The Bombers clinched a spot in the tournament last Wednesday with a 1-0 win over RIT and secured the No. 3 seed after topping Vassar, 4-3, on Saturday in thrilling fashion.

Sophomore
Jonathan Kyriakidis netted the game-winners in both games, en route to earning Liberty League Offensive Performer of the Week.

On Wednesday against RIT, Kyriakidis netted a header off of a
Thomas Pierce corner kick in the 62
nd minute, earning the Bombers their first-ever bid to the Liberty League tournament after joining the conference in 2017.

Kyriakidis then went on to complete IC's heroic comeback against Vassar on Saturday afternoon. After the Bombers fell behind, 3-0, Ithaca was sparked by a
Nate Schoen penalty kick, and proceeded to score four goals in less than 26 minutes.

In the final 10 minutes, Ithaca tied things up behind goals from
Kevin Turi and Pierce, before Kyriakidis netted the game-winner with 2:39 left.

The Bombers currently sit at 12-2-3 on the season with a 5-2-2 mark in the Liberty League. IC opened up the season with nine-straight games without a loss, marking the most successful season the program has had since 1999.

Ithaca rounded out the non-conference slate undefeated, picking up wins over Alfred State, Wells, Elmira, Hamilton, Brockport, Oswego and Alfred. It was the first time in program history that the Bombers finished without a loss in non-conference play.

Kyriakidis leads Ithaca's scoring efforts, tallying five goals on the season while also notching two assists for a team-high 12 points. He is ranked among the top 10 in the Liberty League for both goals and game-winners (3).

Nate Schoen has registered four assists on the season to lead the Bombers and rank among the top performers in the Liberty League

Max Lichtenstein has started all-but-two games in the net for IC, recording 43 saves while allowing 14 goals. He currently has a season record of 10-2-3 with a conference-leading eight shutouts. He is also among the leaders in the Liberty League for goals-against average (.897), saves (43) and saves per game (2.69).

In total, the Bombers have had balanced scoring, with 12 different players scoring at least one goal this season. Kyriakidis leads with five while senior

The Thoroughbreds are coming off a 6-0 win over Bard on Saturday afternoon, in which they clinched a spot in the Liberty League tournament. The six goals scored was the most for Skidmore since 2012.

Skidmore wrapped up the regular-season with a 9-5-3 overall record and a 4-4-1 mark in the Liberty League. IC and the Thoroughbreds met up less than three weeks ago, on South Hill, when the Bombers won the match, 2-0.

The Thoroughbreds' Ben Caples leads the team with five goals and four assists on the season for 14 points. Kyle Barrett has scored four goals while Hart Jamieson has three. Seven different players have scored two goals for the Thoroughbreds while four others have notched one apiece.

Caples' 14 points, five goals and four assists this season rank among the leaders in the Liberty League.

In the net, Sebastian Bosch has started every game for the Thoroughbreds, notching 72 saves while allowing just 14 goals in 17 games. He ranks second in goals-against average (.784) and save percentage (.837) while also among the leaders in shutouts (6) and saves per game (4.24).

The winner of Tuesday's game will head to Canton for a semifinal game against No. 2 RPI at 1:30 p.m. The winner of the No.4 Hobart/No. 5 Vassar game will move on to play top-seeded St. Lawrence at 11 a.m.
