REDLANDS, Calif. – The Ithaca College baseball team was shutout on Friday afternoon, 11-0, by the University of Redlands at The Yard in Redlands, Calif. Ithaca is 5-4 on the season and concludes its spring trip to the West Coast tomorrow against Occidental College. Redlands raises its record to 11-9.
The Bulldogs quickly built a 4-0 lead over the Bombers after the first inning and we held scoreless until the plated three more in the fourth inning. Redlands would then score once in the fifth and sixth innings, and put up two more in the seventh to account of the 11-run output.

The Ithaca offense was held off balance all contest by Redlands starting pitcher, Felix Minjarez, who struck out nine batters over seven innings and scattered four hits.
Sophomore
Zach Zottola took the loss in 3.2 innings pitched. Zottola allowed seven runs (six earned) on seven hits with three strikeouts. Freshman
Tom Cosentino was first out of the bullpen and tossed 1.1 innings with an earned run. Senior
Logan Barer tallied an inning in relief and junior
Chris Marinaccio finished off the final two innings of the contest and fanned two batters.
First pitch of tomorrow's contest at Occidental is scheduled for 2 p.m. PDT (5 p.m. Eastern).
