ITHACA, N.Y. – The Ithaca College men's swimming and diving team topped SUNY Cortland by a score of 187-113 on Friday evening.

The Bombers started off with a win in the 200 yard medley relay. The team of
Kevin Shin,
Andrew Mikhailichenko,
Nate Bartalo and
Stanley Zaneski won the race after swimming to a time of 1:37.98.

Ithaca's team of
Bradley Keith,
John Mosier,
Nick Bonnabeau and
Kellen Scanlan finished in third place with a time of 1:43.70.

The Bombers took the top two spots in the next event, the 1000 yard freestyle.
Jake Hewitt finished in first place with a time of 10:30.27.
Patrick Daly came in the second, swimming to a time of 10:48.72.

Daniel Meyers continued things rolling for Ithaca, taking first place in the 200 yard freestyle with a time of 1:50.26..

Marshall Hendlin finished in second place after swimming to a time of 1:53.01 and Bonnabeau took third with a time of 1:53.52.

Keith was the top finisher for the Bombers in the 100 yard backstroke, swimming to a time of 56.31 for second place while Shin took third with a time of 56.82.

In the 100 yard breaststroke, Mikhailichenko took first with a time of 59.41. Mosier was the third place finisher, swimming to a time of 1:05.18.

Hewitt was victorious once again, this time in the 20 yard butterfly, swimming to a time of 1:58.40.

In the 50 yard freestyle, Zaneski was the top finisher, taking first with a time of 22.01. Zachary Meunier finished in third for the Bombers, swimming to a time of 23.15. Scanlan,
Liam Maginnis and Cortland's Eric Kohlhoff were part of a three-way tie for fourth place with a time of 23.26.

Bartalo took first for the Bombers in the 100 yard freestyle, swimming to a time of 48.30. Zaneski finished in second place with a time of 48.52 while Meyers placed third with a time of 49.93.

In the 200 yard backstroke, Keith was once again the top finisher, taking second place with a time of 2:04.48. Hendlin finished in fourth place after swimming to a time of 2:07.17.

Mikhailichenko took first for the Bombers again, this time in the 200 yard breaststroke with a time of 2:08.88. Mosier finished in third place with a time of 2:25.04 while Auggi Carlozzi took fourth after swimming to a time of 2:25.14.

Hewitt won his third individual race of the day, winning the 500 yard freestyle with a time of 5:01.59. Maginnis took third in the race after swimming to a time of 5:14.27.

In the 100 yard butterfly, the Bombers' earned nine more points with a Bartalo first-place finish. Bartalo swam to a time of 52.31. Bonnabeau finished in fourth place with a time of 56.37 while Meyers too fifth with a time of 56.42.

Mikhailichenko won the 200 yard IM in 2:01.49 to earn his third individual win of the day. Carlozzi finished in third place, swimming to a time of 2:09.00.

The Bombers finished the day off with one final win in the 400 yard freestyle relay. The team of Zaneski, Meyers, Scanlan and Bartalo took first with a time of 3:18.80. Ithaca also took second place when the group of Bonnabeau, Hendlin, Shin and Hewitt finished in 3:23.41.

In diving action,
Justin Moczynski was the top Bombers' finisher in the three meter dive, racking up 196.90 points.
Brian Coburn took fourth place with a score of 178.40.

Moczynski was also the top finisher for Ithaca in the one meter dive, taking third place with a score of 213.75. Coburn finished in fourth place with a score of 196.60 while
Benjamin Pesco earned 124.40 points, good for sixth place.

The Bombers are back in action on Friday, November 10 at Le Moyne College. Action is slated to begin at 6 p.m.
