SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The Ithaca College men's swimming team defeated Le Moyne, 158-142, on Friday evening.

The Bombers were led by
Jake Hewitt and
Andrew Mikhailichenko, who both won three individual races.
Â
Ithaca started off with a win in the 200 yard medley relay. The team of
Kevin Shin, Mikhailichenko,
Nate Bartalo and
Stanley Zaneski swam to a time of 1:38.56 to take first place.
Â
Hewitt won his first individual race of the meet next, winning the 1,000 yard freestyle in 10:14.85.
Patrick Daly finished in third place with a time of 10:40.95.

In the 200 yard freestyle, Bartalo was the top Bombers' finisher, taking second place with a time of 1:48.53.
Daniel Meyers came in fourth place with a time of 1:51.76 while
Marshall Hendlin finished in fifth with a time of 1:53.71.

Bradley Keith took first for the Bombers in the 100 yard backstroke, swimming to a time of 56.59. Shin came in fourth place with a time of 57.48 and
Liam Maginnis took fifth with a time of 58.32.

Mikhailichenko won his first race in the 100 yard breaststroke. He finished with a final time of 59.91 to take first for the Bombers.
John Mosier also earned a point for Ithaca, taking fifth with a time of 1:05.61.

The Bombers were victorious in the 200 yard butterfly, with Hewitt taking first and winning his second individual race of the day. Hewitt won with a time of 1:59.43 while Daly took third with a time of 2:07.78.

Zaneski took first in the 50 yard freestyle with a time of 21.76.
Kellen Scanlan finished in fourth with a time of 23.20 while
Nick Bonnabeau finished in fifth with a time of 23.38.

In the 100 yard freestyle, Zaneski was the top finisher for the Bombers, taking second with a time of 49.22. Meyers was not far behind in third, swimming to a time of 49.66 while Scanlan was fifth with a time of 52.38.

Hendlin was the top finisher for the Bombers in the 200 yard backstroke, swimming to a time of 2:04.93 to take third place. Keith finished in fourth with a time of 2:05.57 and Maginnis earned sixth with a 2:09.09 mark.

Mikhailichenko won the 200 yard breaststroke to take his second individual race of the day as well as break the pool record. He won the race in 2:08.29, breaking the previous pool record of 2:08.91.

Augie Carlozzi finished in fourth place for the Bombers with a time of 2:24.52 while Mosier took fifth in 2:25.51.

Hewitt won his third individual race of the day in the 500 yard freestyle, swimming to a time of 4:56.86. Daly finished in fifth with a time of 5:18.02.

In the 100 yard butterfly, Bartalo was the top finisher for the Bombers, coming in second with a time of 52.73. Bonnabeau took third in 57.05 while Shin finished in fifth with a time of 58.25.

Mikhailichenko was victorious again, winning his third race of the day – the 200 yard IM. He finished in 2:00.99 to earn points for the Bombers. Carlozzi finished in fourth place with a time of 2:07.5 and Mosier took fifth in 2:08.11.

In the final swimming event of the day, the 400 yard freestyle relay, the Bombers finished in second, third and fifth place.
Â
The group of Zaneski, Meyers, Hewitt and Bartalo took second for the Ithaca, swimming to a time of 3:18.09.

Hendlin, Bonnabeau, Shin and Scanlan finished in third place with a time of 3:25.55 while the team of
Aidan DeBolt, Maginnis, Daly and Keith finished in fifth with a time of 3:37.86.

In the first one meter diving event,
Justin Moczynski took first with a score of 164.55.
Brian Coburn came in third with a mark of 134.35 while
Benjamin Pesco took fifth with a total of 118.60 points.
Â
Moczynski was also the top finisher for the Bombers in the second one meter dive, earning second with a 201.80 mark. Coburn took third with a point total of 195.10 while Pesco totaled 114.20 points.

The Bombers are back in action on Saturday, November 18 when they host SUNY Geneseo and Hartwick at 5 p.m.
