ITHACA, N.Y. —A balanced Ithaca College men's lacrosse team saw 11 different student-athletes score a goal, and 14 record at least one point as the Bombers defeated Oswego State 19-4 Wednesday afternoon at Higgins Stadium.
Junior attacker
Jack Shumway equaled his career-high with five goals, and sophomore attacker
Jake Cotton added two man-up goals with three assists to spark the Bombers (3-1).

Michael Walker scored two goals with an assist, while junior attacker

David Drozjock, and sophomore attacker
Kaelan Fitzpatrick each had one goal with two assists for Ithaca.
With the win, the Bombers improved to 2-0 at home and have now won seven of eight matchups against the Lakers (1-1) since the 1998 season.

Conner Crosson handed out two assists as Ithaca eclipsed 16 goals in a game for the third time in four games.
Senior All-American defender
Eli Gobrecht caused six turnovers, four in the opening quarter, and collected five groundballs while scoring a goal for the second consecutive game.

Grant Osadchey won 83.3 percent of his faceoffs (10 of 12), while sophomore midfielder
Steven Landspurg won 61.5 percent (8 of 13) as the Bombers won 72 percent of their faceoffs (18 of 25).
Ithaca enjoyed a 69-15 advantage in shots, and a 42-19 edge in groundballs. Osadchey collected seven groundballs and Landspurg added five to lead IC.
Senior
Scott Sidnam allowed one goal with seven saves over 37 minutes in net, while junior
Jack Deragon did not allow a goal and made two saves in 15:02 in net.
Ithaca raced out to a 12-0 halftime lead as seven different student-athletes scored a goal, led by Shumway's four goals.
Walker staked IC to a 1-0 lead just 50 seconds in, and Januszkiewicz found Cotton for the first of his two man-up goals three minutes into the contest.
Then Shumway took over, scoring four straight goals during a stretch of 7:44 in the opening quarter. Morrell added a goal 37 seconds into the second for Ithaca, which had assists on each of its first seven goals.
Cotton scored both of his man-up goals and added two assists in the opening half, while Fitzpatrick had a goal with two assists, Morrell tallied two goals, and Drozjock handed out a pair of assists in the first half.

Keith Morrissey, held Oswego scoreless for the first 37:26 until Luke Krizman scored a man-up goal halfway through the third quarter.
The Bombers travel to Tampa, Fla. for their annual Spring Break trip. Ithaca will face Colorado College at 7:30 p.m. March 15, followed by a 7:30 p.m. clash with Babson College March 17.Â
