Biography
2018: In his final season, Morrissey appeared and started in all 20 games for the Bombers. On the season he scored one goal and tallied six assists on the offensive end. On defense he collected 54 ground balls and caused 39 turnovers for fifth and third best on the team.Â
2017: As a junior Morrissey competed in 15 games for the Bombers making 14 starts. On the season, he collected 38 ground balls and caused 16 turnovers. In the Bombers' seventh game of the year against SUNY Cortland (3/27), Morrissey collected a season high seven ground balls.  Â
2016: Morrissey appeared in 20 contests for IC during his sophomore season. He scored his first two career points with an assist and goal in back-to-back contests against St. John Fisher (5/4) and Stevens (5/7), respectively. He also collected a career-high 37 ground balls and 22 caused turnovers.
2015: Morrissey saw action in 10 games for the Bombers during his freshman campaign. He scooped five ground balls and recorded two caused turnovers. |
2015 Game-by-game statistics
High School: A 2014 graduate of Walt Whitman High School, Morrissey earned three varsity letters under lacrosse coach Bob Howell. Morrissey was a senior captain, who earned All-County and All-Division honors.
Personal: An accounting major, he is the son of Brian and Susan Morrissey.
