Last Time Out
Ithaca continued to roll through its schedule this past weekend with three more victories at the 2016 Wellesley Invitational. IC opened the two-day event in Massachusetts with a straight-sets win over the tournament hosts on Friday. The Bombers faced a quick turnaround with an early morning back-to-back on Saturday in which they bested Wesleyan (Conn.) in five sets and Endicott in a three setter. The wins upped Ithaca's record to 19-4 on the year.

Non-Conference, No Problem
Often times when facing a non-conference slate as challenging as the Bombers have in 2016 wins can be difficult to come by. That has not been the case for IC, as the team has proven itself against the best in the nation time-and-again in posting a 14-3 record in matches against opponents outside the conference. Included in that record are victories over nationally-ranked Clarkson and Carnegie Mellon among several other high-profile foes.

Versus the SUNYs
Oneonta will be the fourth match of the year in Ithaca's tour through the SUNY institutions in 2016. IC has posted a 2-1 record against the state schools thus far this season. The Bombers dropped their opener to SUNY Brockport, but subsequently have rattled off victories over Oswego State and Cortland. Ithaca concludes its run through the State of New York during the final week of October when it meets New Paltz, Potsdam, and Geneseo at the Skidmore Invitational.

Milestone for Goldstein
Junior, Joelle Goldstein, has once again paced the Bombers attack in 2016. The reigning AVCA All-American enters Tuesday with a team-leading 231 kills, which has put her on the precipice of a notching a significant milestone achievement. The third-year outside hitter needs just five kills to reach 1,000 for her career.

Scouting SUNY Oneonta
The Red Dragons enter Tuesday night with an overall record of 9-14, but a 4-2 mark in SUNYAC play. The team is coming off a quad-team tournament at MIT last weekend, in which Oneonta posted a 1-2 record. The Red Dragons dropped their first two matches to MIT and Swarthmore, before rallying to beat Mount Saint Vincent in straight sets. Paige Carpluk leads the team with 244 kills and has been a dangerous server with 21 aces. Melissa Voyer and Erika Corbin are strong defenders at net with 66 and 65 total blocks, respectively.

Looking Ahead
The Bombers continue their homestand on Saturday when they conclude their Empire 8 slate by hosting the final conference crossover of the year. IC opens the day's action against Utica at 11 a.m., before finishing the afternoon at 4 p.m. against Houghton. Ithaca will honor its senior class prior to the tilt with the Highlanders.
