Box Score ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The Ithaca College men's lacrosse team fell in a matchup of nationally-ranked team on Saturday at Nazareth. Ithaca, ranked 14th in the latest USILA Coaches Poll, led 6-4 after three quarters before #19 Nazareth rallied to win. Ithaca is 9-4 overall and 4-1 in the Empire 8. Nazareth is 10-3 on the year and 5-0 in the conference.

Ithaca led 5-4 after a high-scoring first quarter. The Bombers scored three straight goals to take a 4-2 lead as
Steve Danylyshyn,
Jack Shumway and
Grant Osadchey all scored in the run. After two goals by the Golden Flyers, Shumway scored late in the quarter to give Ithaca its 5-4 advantage.
Neither team scored in the second quarter, and the only goal of the third quarter was
Eli Gobrecht's fourth goal of the season and Ithaca led 6-4. Nazareth won five of six faceoffs in the fourth quarter and outscored Ithaca 5-0 over the final 15 minutes to seal the victory.

Scott Sidnam made 11 saves. Nazareth was 13-for-19 from the X in the game, and converted three of six man-up opportunities. Ithaca was 0-for-2 in man-up situations.

The Bombers return to action Saturday, April 18 at home against Hartwick at noon.
