ITHACA, N.Y. -- The Ithaca College women's tennis team faced an upgrade in competition and took on Division I Cornell on Saturday afternoon at Cornell's Reis Tennis Center. The homestanding Big Red won 9-0.
"This was a great opportunity for us and we played well. The match scores were what they were, but watching the play of each point showed that our team was competitive. It was a good day for us," Ithaca head coach
Bill Austin said.
Ithaca's next match is Sunday, March 29 at Connecticut College.
